Rame Outdoors has been going since 2009. We're based on the Rame Peninsula in SE Cornwall. We are about getting young people from round here outside and actively making real change themselves: looking after the landscape around us and enjoying it while working on improvements: tree-planting, footpaths, clearing invasives and more. What we do is good for the environment, and it’s good for the young people too. We have 8 young adults in our team, working together very well, with two hotshot team leaders.
Climate change is the biggest problem facing the planet – it’s time to do something. This year, we have moved up several gears and set ourselves a new target - to plant 5,000 trees on the Peninsula. We only started in September 2019 and we’ve got sites for the first 500 trees already so we’re doing OK.
